Our mission is to help you identify the best possible living situation for yourself or your loved ones.
The Right Place — Senior Options is here to help with transitions from home or an unsatisfactory care placement, when the need is obvious.
We are a referral service that helps seniors and their families navigate the vast array of residential options and care services available to those in need of any level of assistance. We provide personalized and respectful consultations that ensure that we find the best new living situation to meet your needs. We partner with Independent, Assisted Living & Memory Care Communities as well as Adult Family (care) Homes. Our referrals are free to you. These residential communities pay our fees when you are a private pay client, qualify for VA benefits and/or have long-term care insurance. If your source of funding is Medicaid, we are happy to help by consulting with your case worker or consulting with a concerned family member on an hourly basis for a fee.
Moving to a new community is a big decision and we understand the difficulties this process entails. The ultimate decision is yours. Senior communities have evolved over the years and are probably not what you might expect. Many beautiful communities now exist where people are respected and well cared for. They pay attention to good quality dining, life enrichment, health and wellness. We’re looking forward to helping you find the right place that will provide a safe and joyful quality of life.
This process can be overwhelming, emotional and very time-consuming. Let us represent you so we can use our expertise to narrow your search and save you time finding the most appropriate care setting at no cost to you.
We’re here to discuss your family needs and concerns. Do you know someone who is challenged with managing their medication, getting nutritionally adequate meals, navigating stairs, living alone or is socially isolated? If so, there are many modern aging options where your loved ones’ needs will be met and they will still have their own private apartment. We can help you or someone you know find that perfect place.
How We Work.
We first talk with you or family members to learn as much as possible about your abilities, resources, needs and what kind of living situation and location you desire. Then we research various communities that might be a good fit and narrow them down to about three that our experience leads us to believe would be the best fit. We arrange escorted tours of these communities so you and/or family members can judge for yourselves. You will likely be invited to stay for a free meal or an activity so you can see firsthand what it would be like to live there. You may also wish to schedule a return visit.
